FAQ
who are you?
i’m webMaster rudolf dienstag. look upon my works, ye mighty, and despair.
what are user experiences?
a new type of web series i’m developing with a focus on interactivity. my ux site will be overhauled soon but you can read more about it here.
what is your art process?
somewhat like this:
- sketch (usually analog)
- render line art in clip studio paint
- base color flats shadows highlights
- color line art on clip mask
- add textures and color correction filters
you can see some of my tools here.
how do i build a website?
you can build a very basic website with some simple html/css. nero’s quick ‘n’ dirty guide to making a website is the best place to start and my home page’s two-column design was inspired by sadgrl’s layout builder.
to take it further, consider using a static site generator like astro javascript or 11ty. both have a learning curve but astro especially is incredible at managing content heavy sites like mine. coding in public has a full astro blog tutorial on youtube.
i’ve put together some additional resources and free code here.

I am poking around your site with the power of inspect element to better understand how certain things are built and I just wanna say it’s very nice code.
i really appreciate it! it’s still pretty messy with the inconsistent whitespace but i’ve cleaned it up a lot since my first build. i am still managing to find little things to do… (one more little-ish thing before i send out another long-winded newsletter)
i just pushed an update that broke the local storage item so if you decide to visit you may have to submit again. i had to figure out how to reroute everything too so i may have also broken a lot of the links. again, little-ish things to do.

I don’t know why but your art reminds me a lot of Nagabe’s work. You should read some of their stuff, like mienai-hito-tachi, The Wize Beasts of the Wizarding Wizdoms or The Girl From the Other Side, thought, almost all their stuff is furry or monster/human.
this is one of the highest compliments i have ever received i’m only familiar with the girl from the other side but i absolutely love the energy nagabe’s work has, that softness and intimacy despite the grim melancholy… i could only dream of capturing that bittersweet energy. i should look more into his work and do some studies.\n\ni really want to lean in on fetish for wolfsbane but this would be a really interesting approach. a little girl taming a monster, terrifying to itself and others, through the pure love that only little girls can feel… this is such a sweet thought. thank you for this message. it brightened my day.

Hey sorry this is a weird question but will u reaploud those vintage nsfw comic strips or photos bc i rlly liked them when u had ur old acc back
for context, my grandfather was an erotic photographer and i came into possession of his work as well as some tijuana bibles this past year. i was trying to get them all scanned and uploaded somewhere but it’s very time consuming and i don’t have a scanner at home so i have to go to a friend’s house to use hers. as such it’s been buried in my thousands of things but i can put up a few of the scans and the pictures i took later today!
at some point i’m probably going to need to put up an interest poll and see if i can’t knock some of these (smaller? more easily completed? simpler?) projects out because i don’t have the discipline to see them through in a timely manner… but if there is any interest in this i will move it up my list for sure!
also, if anyone has any information on archival and restoration and such, i would really appreciate it. i have no experience with photography and i’m not exactly sure how to handle these, especially given i have next to no information about them.
(i also have to make a page for it somewhere on my main site… in the eternal words of daft punk, our work is never over…)
